My boy is turning 4 on Saturday, CrA-ZY! Should I tell you all about how old I feel? I could. I could write a whole post about it and some, but I think instead I'll focus on just celebrating the fact that this little guy is the bestest little guy out there and I am so very glad he's my son.
I want to celebrate him every day of his life, and frankly so does he. He's been asking about his birthday party since his last birthday party. Now we're in the final stretch. The invitations are made, they look exactly like the picture above except with info about location, date, and time. The menu is pretty much decided, Enzo gets to decide the entire menu and so far it's an interesting one.
I need to order baloons, I'm thinking of a bouncy house, I need to figure out music.... so much to do, I love it!
This whole week I'll be positing about preperations for his party and fun food ideas. Come celebrate with us and if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

What a fun giveaway! My daughter Katie, 3, would adore this cute cake. My favorite cake would have to be the "mermaid" doll cake and mini-cakes I made for her birthday last year. It was worth all the effort just to see her sweet eyes light up! It's on my blog (but I won't spam you with a link ;)

When I was a kid, I always asked my mom for chocolate cake with "sticky" frosting. Now I like vanilla with a buttercream icing.

Our favorite around here is German Chocolate.
There are few cakes I like.. German Chocolate, Red Velvet, and one my mom makes that is sooo yummy I can't believe I like it chocolate cake.. For my kids we do applesauce carrot cake OR chocolate (and always homemade)... BTW HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Enzo. weeshenanigans (at) gmail (dot) com
when I was a kid my mom used to make us a poke cake for our birthdays. She would bake a cake and then with a tooth pick poke a bunch of holes in it. she would then make up our favorite flavor of jello and pour it over the cake. when you cut slices of the cake it is streaked with yummyness. As a kid I thought it was the prettiest thing.

I like carrot cake, but I"m not sure most kids would.
I love yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
My mom always made us Jell-o cakes though. They are white cakes that liquid jell-o is poured over and then cooled, frosted with whipped topping and garnished with fruit.

This is so adorable and our little Rachel would love this as she loves birthdays and cake!
My favorite this year is coconut cake, and then it would be maybe a carrot cake and then a chocolate cake with vanilla icing and then, oh the list goes on and on!
